Born 1977 in Tokyo. She began to study harp when she was 8 years old with her mother and famous harpist, Ayako Shinozaki. In 1992, she was the winner of the Nippon Harp Competition, Junior Section. She won the second prize at the Junior Section of the 1st Lily Laskine Harp Competition in 1993, the second prize at the professional section of the 9th Japan Harp Competition in 1997 and the first prize at the advanced harp division of the UFAM International Music Competition in Aix-en-Provence in 1998. She was invited to play at the 7th International Harp Congress in Prague. She studied at the National Conservatory of Nice from 1997 to 1998. When she graduated, the jury unanimously awarded her the gold medal. She made her first CD album, Une chatelaine en sa tour (Meister Music) in 2002. After her debut recital at Kioi Hall in November 2002. she is studying in Paris for 2 years as a fellow under the Japanese Government Overseas Study Program.
